Broughton
Craggs Hotel was originally built as a Gentleman's residence
in 1858. It was converted to a hotel in 1975.
Julie and Derek Horton have owned the hotel since the Spring of
2006 and during that period it has been through considerable refurbishment
keeping the character of the beautiful building yet extending the
services the family run hotel has to offer. With Derek and Julie
are the family: Leigh, their son, Lisa, their daughter, Dan, their
son-in-law and Caitlyn and David, their grand-children
Julie and Derek have been in the hospitality business for over
15 years and they understand the needs of their customers.
The hotel and restaurant have received many awards and head chef
Gareth Williams provides an extensive restaurant and bar menu,
all prepared from fresh local produce and with a variety to cater
for all tastes. Any special dietry requirements can be catered
for if advised upon arrival. The staff at Broughton Craggs are committed to make your stay
a pleasure and provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
